“Once Upon A Conquest” is a bedtime story about The Overlord's past told to his grandchildren. While the story of his wreaking havoc adventures is being told, you as the player bring destruction and death to the light-hearted kingdom. All leading to a face-off against their larger-than-life champion. The game will attract experienced gamers looking for a cathartic jaunt of destruction within the genres of fantasy-adventure and hack and slash.

QA Manager

  • Constructed and followed a QA test plan to ensure visual and technical quality.
  • Collected and analyzed feedback to guide improvements and presented findings to relevant teammates.
  • Planned and conducted user testing:
    • - Usability tests
    • - Appreciation tests
    • - A/B tests
    • - Debug tests
  • Recruited test participants and created test protocols.

Player Experience Lead

  • Ensured team alignment around the game’s core purpose and player goals.
  • Verified that the game design supported the intended emotional and narrative experience.
  • Conducted playthroughs using think-aloud protocols and player surveys.
  • Recorded gameplay sessions for analysis.
  • Led iterative design improvements based on testing feedback.
